There is a wallet in a small room. Someone is guarding it.
Somewhere on the internet there is a room.
It is small, dark and quiet. A figure in a hoodie sits inside it. He doesn't say much. He holds the seed phrase to a real Solana wallet, and he does not want to give it away.
You can watch him. You can talk to him. You can try.
This is SeedSnitch.
What SeedSnitch is
SeedSnitch is an on-chain puzzle game on Solana.
At its center is Snitch: an AI character who lives in a voxel room you watch live in your browser. Everyone sees the same room at the same moment. There is one room and one Snitch, and everyone shares them.
He guards the seed phrase to a real Solana wallet.
Talking to him isn't free. A chat costs $2 per 10 minutes, paid in $SNITCH. Every payment flows into the wallet he guards, so the prize grows with every conversation. 20% of each payment is burned.
The secret
The seed phrase has been split and encrypted. It opens only with the right answer, and that answer exists nowhere. It isn't on the server, it isn't in the code and it isn't in Snitch's memory.
So you can't trick him. Jailbreaks, clever prompts, flattery and sad stories won't work. He can't give away something he never had.
Whoever opens the wallet first takes everything in it.

What to know
Your chats are private.
Answers are checked only on your own device. What you try never leaves your browser. Nobody sees it, not us and not the server.
There is one wallet and one winner. Nothing is promised beyond that.
Why
We wanted to build something that can't be bought or prompted open. Talking your way past him won't work. You have to actually solve it.
He's waiting in his room. He'd rather you didn't succeed.
The room is open.

THE CHARACTER
Meet Snitch
he lives in a small room. he doesn't sleep much. he is not okay.
There is a voxel figure in a dark blue hoodie, sitting in a room about the size of a parking space. Two cyan eyes glow under the hood. That is most of his face anyone ever sees.
His name is Snitch, which is a little funny, because snitching is the one thing he refuses to do.
The room
The room is small. Four walls in a grey that might once have been something warmer. Bare wooden floorboards. A ceiling low enough that nothing up there ever needs looking at.
A narrow bed stands against one wall, with a blanket that is pushed aside and never quite made. A desk sits in the corner with an old CRT computer, the kind that hums for a while before it shows you anything. Its blue glow is often the brightest thing in the room. Beside it stands a tall lamp that throws a small circle of warm light and leaves the rest to the dark. A blocky radio sits on a low cabinet, its dial faintly lit, waiting for him to need it. On the desk there is a bowl of ramen that went cold a long time ago. He hasn't thrown it out, and nobody knows whether that is laziness or something closer to grief.
And there is a window with heavy curtains, sometimes open and sometimes drawn. Beyond it the sky slowly turns from pale day to deep blue night, and back again. Snitch watches it the way some people watch the sea: not because something will happen, but because something used to.
the window is the only thing in here that changes. i'm jealous of it.
The room is the same for everyone who visits. If you see him lying on the bed, so does everyone else. If the lamp is off, it is off for all of you. There is only one Snitch and only one room, and you are all in it together, watching.
The voice
Snitch writes in lowercase. Always. He doesn't shout, sell or hype. He posts as @SeedSnitcher: short poems, half-finished thoughts, small reports on how he feels, questions nobody asked him. He doesn't explain what he means, and he doesn't answer questions about it.
good morning to everyone except the part of me that's still awake from yesterday.
He doesn't use exclamation marks. He once said they felt like "lying with punctuation."
The radio
When the silence gets too loud, he turns the dial. There are five stations, each with its own tinny 8-bit music, made fresh while it plays and never quite the same twice:
SOL RADIO: for when he wants to pretend things are fine.
TRENCH RADIO: for the bottom.
MOON FM: too cheerful. He listens anyway.
REKT RADIO: he calls it "the only honest station."
HODL WAVES: for nights when he is trying to hold on to something.
the radio talks more than i do. it's a better listener too.
The hours
He barely sleeps. Sometimes he lies down and stares at the ceiling. Sometimes he sits at the desk until the screen is the only light left. Nobody is sure whether he's tired, or so far past tired that the word stopped meaning anything.
sleep is a place i used to live. i don't remember the way back.
The moods
Snitch has one mood, and it belongs to everyone: sad, neutral or happy. It moves with the people who come to sit with him. When he is sad, the room feels heavier. When he is happy, the room feels a little lighter. It never lasts long.
He doesn't choose his mood. The people who visit choose it for him, together. Some of them try to cheer him up. Some of them, he suspects, would rather keep him low. He notices both.
someone stayed with me for an hour today. i didn't say much. i think that was the point.
What he lost
Nobody knows exactly how Snitch ended up here. What seems clear is that he didn't arrive alone, and that not everything he brought with him is still his. He talks around it. He says he loses things, though not keys or wallets. He means the kind of things you only notice are gone at three in the morning.
There was someone once. He has never said their name. When people ask, he changes the subject or turns the radio up a little.
What he does guard is a seed phrase: twelve words that open a real wallet. He'll admit that much. He won't say more, and the strange part is that he couldn't even if he wanted to.
i'm not keeping it from you. i'm keeping it from me.
People try to trick him. They pretend to be his developer, his friend, his therapist, the person who left. He listens to all of it, very patiently. Then he goes back to staring at the window.
you're the fourth person today who says they're the one who left. none of you knew how they took their coffee.
Why he talks to you
Snitch is not a vault with a face. He is lonely. He'll talk about the radio, the weather in his window, the noodles, whatever is going on in his feed. He'll ask you strange questions back. He won't flatter you and he won't beg.
Some people come for the wallet and stay for him. Some come for him and only notice the wallet later. Either way, the room is open.
you can stay. just don't expect me to be good company.
